Lately I have come across a lot of misinformation when it comes to your furry friends and THC. People love to tell me how THC is “toxic” for dogs and I’m here to tell you it is not…how do I know such a thing? Because I have plenty of canine friends on THC with no issue.

what they are is sensitive, that is why dosing is so vital to the application of cannabis oil into your dog’s life…for people to say it is toxic, ignores all the results and all the science when it comes to your pet…let me give you a couple of examples when it comes to the overall health benefits of THC in animals…

For older animals that suffer from arthritis and mobility issues it is a wonderful and powerful anti-inflammatory. It helps deal with the pain associated with such conditions but it gets to the root cause of the condition which is inflammation. So THC Sativa and Indica (Day and Night oils) work wonders for this condition and allow an older dog (or any dog with arthritis) to enjoy a higher quality of life. Gabapentin in no way helps with the inflammation and won’t do what the THC will do.

For animals riddled with anxiety THC Indica offers the animal a chance at a calmer life while offering no side effects. It does this by binding to the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the brain and allowing for a more peaceful day. It calms and rests like no other medicine and simply allows the dog to relax. This is one of the beauties of this medicine, it gives the pup relief on a high level while building a new environment in the brain.

You see, Cannabis is a cumulative medicine, so we are building a new environment….a pill or capsule dissolves in the body so you gave more traditional medicine 3-4x a day as it gives -eriods of relief. Cannabis oil gives the dog permanent relief as we build this medicine in the system….

This is all great, but what I want you to know above anything else is that THC isn’t toxic in any way to the animal when dosed correctly…it’s all about dosing and the quality of medicine!

– Halo
